I just joined this thread yesterday and I ended up emailing BU to ask about the “thank you” versus “our records indicate” and they said it’s nothing to worry about but I’m having a hard time believing them. I’m so nervous for next week…
Does anyone know the acceptance rate SPECIFICALLY for early decision?? How many apply early decision and how many actually get in?
i think mine was really strong because it was more about me than it was BU, BU knows what theyre good at, they know you know, you have to say why you would benefit
@terrier333 i looked into it and in past years its been as high as 60%, and my admissions rep said they literally bend over backwards to get ED kids in

@kristamaried But also five years ago the regular acceptance rate was 45%… it’s tough to correlate to what they did in years past other than like last year because BU has changed SOOO much in the last five years
The college counselor at my school said it was around 40% when I asked… but I don’t know if there’s any info online that agrees w that

@sunflowerlover - just to clarify, you did NOT apply for financial aid. I didn’t apply for FA and I received a really different message today.
