Did any of you get a confirmation that BU received your first quarter grades? Is it worth calling them to confirm that they have it? Or would they email me if they’re missing them?

No, I never got a confirmation… I think we’re okay though? The applicant link just says they will send an email if they are missing anything, not to confirm they have everything, so hopefully we’re all fine hahah

I didn’t get confirmation but the day after I sent them in it stopped asking for them on the student link and they emailed me the day I sent them asking for them, so I am sure we are good if we sent them in!

I applied ed to questrom for accounting and economics. My stats are as follows:
SAT 1430 (730 english 700 math)
GPA UW 92.3, GPA W 97.1
I took all honors classes in sophmore year, 3 ap classes 2 honors classes junior year, and 5 ap classes senior year. I scored 5,5,4 on ap test for govt politics, lang, and apush. This year im taking ap physics, ap lit, ap stat, ap calc ab, and ap econ.
As well i played varsity ice hockey all years of hs as well as playing on a high level club hockey team at the same time. I have had two jobs, one in retail and one as a caddy in the summer. also in NHS.
What do you guys think about my chances for getting in? Also, anyone have any guesses on qhen admittion decisions are going ti come out bc the wait is slowly killing me.
On your applicant links, does the first paragraph under “Application Credential Status” say “Thank you for your application to the (school you applied to like CAS, COM, or CGS) as an Early Decision candidate for the September 2018 semester. We will email you during the application review process if we are missing any required credentials for your application. You will be directed to check this page to see which credentials are not yet received.” or does it say something different? I was looking through last years thread and apparently some kids have their paragraphs start with “Our records…” and doesn’t have “Early Decision Candidate” written in it.
@Apes2468 , my D applied RD, but hers starts with “Our records…” She applied to Sargent, Human Physiology major if anyone is going to keep track, lol

Mine no longer mentions “Early Decision”. I looked through Last year’s thread, too. Hope it doesn’t mean I got deferred.

@cheeeer I also looked through last years thread and it does seem to look like if the “early decision” is taken out, it means deferred. That being said, no one knows for sure what the heck is going on so who knows?
So I just called BU with my question about first quarter grades. She said that the message will stay on the applicant link until our decision is published, so it’s nothing to worry about. She also said it’s a reminder for us to send in our first semester grades too, whenever they become available.
This is what mine says:

I would request that they received your MP1 grades. It can’t hurt. It’s December 5th and they are going to release on what, the 15th?, they have to have to have started putting the apps into the yay or nay piles. I can’t imagine that the message on your link would change so early. Also, is it definitely the 15th? What’s the latest word?
at the bottom of the portal, does it say “If you would like to change the BU school or college to which you have applied, or wish to discuss your application, please call BU Admissions.”
