@Winky1 Thanks for your advice, I am just the kind of person who rather wants to have either accepted or denied. Deferral and waitlist are just not my things.
@aastsen18r I think we will find out Monday too. Friday seems a little too early
@Joezzzzz i applied to Pitt and Fordham too and got into Pitt
@zmcm151 Did you receive any scholarship or aid?
@Joezzzzz yeah i got of ton of aid but only 6k a year in scholarship
Just wondering—in the last couple days has anyone’s message on the portal changed??? Like how it did last year? I’m just wondering if that happened to any more people than those that already mentioned having that happened
ok here is a serious question. Let say I am deferred. Then eventually I get accepted, am I still committed to enroll to Boston University since I first applied as an ED applicant?
@zmcm151 May I know your SAT and GPA?
@Joezzzzz 3.39 , 1400/1600
@Joezzzzz no, if they defer you then accept you regular decision, it is not binding!
@zmcm151 Mine is 3.31, 1330/1600, but haven’t seen any aid or scholarship. Where did you find out?
@terrier333 That’s sweet, I don’t really want to to go a school who deferred me.
@Joezzzzz but if BU is your first choice dont let being deferred discourage you
I just heard that my friends said the deferred acceptance rate is really low… Like none.
@Joezzzzz I don’t think you should be discoruraged just yet, they may have changed it this year and the message may not mean anything. Did it used to have the “thank you…Early decision” message? Or has it always had the “our records indicate…” one?
@joezzzzz that is usually wait list, not deferred acceptance rate. When you are deferred you are then included in the regular decision pool.
Hi! I applied ED for COM or CGS, GPA: 3.7 SAT: 1330! I’ve been so jumpy this week everytime my email notification comes up. Good luck everyone!
Did any of you apply to CAS???
@aastsen18r i did! Hoping to major in International Relations!
@terrier333 It changed from “Thank You” to “our records”. That’s the thing I am worried about.
