plan to apply to Vanderbilt ED. Thank you.

If you can get your SAT scores up so that your M and CR are over 1400 that will improve your chances a lot. What about the ACT? Don’t worry about SAT Writing, they are not really looking at it yet.

i am only an incoming freshman but i thought i would let you know my thoughts since i just went through that process. i totally agree with the previous post. if you can up those standardized tests scores i think you stand a great chance (you might even be in without upping them). you seem to be very well rounded. if you up those score i think that you could apply and have a chance to get the cornelius vanderbilt scholarship. this is what i am going to school on (they pay for tuition and summer research and there are honors seminars you can take). feel free to post back if you dont know about this program or want to know more specifics about what my stuff was that helped me get in. basically my suggestion is to retake the sat if you can (or the act?) and look into that scholarship/direct access to vandys honors program! good luck/great job!

oh and one final piece of advise is to talk endlessly to the vandy rep in your area. by the end of the admissions process mine remembered my name and you know that cant be a bad thing.

Just a suggestion but maybe you should write your essay on that company you made, that really stands out from your app in my opinion.
