SAT Physics: 640 and TBA
ACTE: 30 ACTM: 35 ACTR: 28 ACTS: 31 ACTCOM: 31
GPAW: 4.27
GPAU: 3.6? or so
Rank: 28/600

I have a few extracurriculars, some work experience, good teacher recommendations.

So what do you think my chances are to SCS and CIT:ECE at cmu?
And which is more selective (ED only allows for first choice as ED)? Thanks ahead of time for replies.

Both are very selective but SCS is a bit harder. ECE is more selective than the rest of CIT.

I think you have a decent chance...who knows but I'll predict you'll get deferred into the regular decision round for SCS, possibly accepted into ECE.

I think you might have a shot for ECE, but unless you have done something really spectacular outside of class, I think SCS looks pretty problematic. But - you never know. As long as you have a solid plan B, may as well go for it.
