<p>My common app essay was about how living in South Africa for 4 years aided me in truly understanding diversity.
My Midd essay was about the pledge of allegiance and the reasons for not standing during the pledge.</p>
<p>Recs one from my 11th grade English AP teacher and one from my current Spanish 5 AP teacher.</p>
<p>It probably hurts that during my second semesters of Sophomore & Junior years my GPA dropped instead of increasing (up and down trend where I would do really well my 1st sem. and then my GPA would go down my 2nd sem). Also I got a C in Advanced Geometry my Sophomore year.</p>
