ED chances at Wharton?

I’m sure you all have read a bunch of these, but I was wondering if i could get some feedback about what my chances might be. I applied early decision to Wharton. I’m from Indiana, so there arent too many applicants either…

ACT-34 composite; 36 math, 36 reading, 33 english
4.39 GPA
rank- 13 of 350; at a very competitive school

Advanced Classes- ap us history, ap psychology, ap economics, ap us government, ap calculus, ap biology, ap spanish 5

i’m also on the WE THE PEOPLE team, which is very competive at my school

Extra Curricular/Leadership:
President of SADD for 2 years; treasurer soph year
Secretary of Student Government; member all 4 years
VP of NHS; 2 year member
Senior Leader for FCA (fellowship of christian athletes)
Steering committee for church youth group
2 mission trips with church
2 years of jv basketball; 1 year varsity team manager
3 years of frosh/jv baseball

I also spent this last summer in Leon, Spain through the Indiana University Honors Program in Foreign Language…i was gone for 2 months and was only allowed to speak spanish the whole time

my essays were very creative, probably the best essays i had ever written.
my recs should be pretty darn good too, but its always hard to tell…

I realize that Wharton is extremely competitive and I’m willing to accept rejection on this endeavor…but if anyone could give me some sort of feedback about my resume and/or my chances with ED, i’d really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot,
Matt

by the way, what's the official date of when we find out the decisions? i saw a bunch of posts discussing it, but does anyone know the date officially?

online for ED its Dec 14 at 7pm and for RD its March 30 5pm

thanks cmh, i appreciate it

Can someone please give me some feedback? I'm not looking for praise here, i'm looking for a critique and an honest opinion. . . i have 4 applications for other colleges, which means i'll have to write another 5 essays by january 1st if i don't get in. if my chances at Penn are strong, i'd rather put off the essays and save myself lots of work...but if my chances are not great, i should be doing them now. i'd love your opinion on whether or not i should be slaving over these essays, or if i'm better off waiting to see what happens w/ penn

I don't suggest waiting until the last minute for essays...even though thats what I will do, I would at least have everything filled out except the essays and be ready to write in misery if you get rejected/deffered.

I think you have a shot at wharton. your GPA is very high and your ECs are good as well. but, wharton is competitive and is a reach school for anyone.

Here are my stats: (i applied to wharton ED)

GPA: 4.2 weighted/3.85 unweighted (some Bs)
Rank: 25/1250 (big school)
SAT: 1510 (770 verbal, 740 math); 2280 (740 verbal, 740 math, 800 writing)
SAT IIs: 800 math II, 790 literature, 760 US history

Good ECs: President of several clubs (speech and debate, National Honor Society), play the piano, and volunteer a lot

Do you think I can get into Wharton? I just need some feedback.

Oh, I almost forgot! I got an interview and i think it went okay. my essays are relatively good and creative. My recs are good too. Please guyz, i need some opinions!!
