ED Chances for Wharton/Huntsman?

Hey guys:)
I know that these things are annoying, but I'm in love with Penn, and I don't want to get my hopes up too high...
I'm applying ED for entrance in Fall 2012...

Academics:
GPA- 4.4 weighted, 3.99 unweighted
Class Rank- 1/430, shared with no one else
AP's- 1 Freshman Year, 2 Sophomore Year, 4 Junior Year, 6 Senior Year
I've exhausted every AP course at my school, and I've taken the hardest course-load possible.
ACT- 30 (I didn't finish the CR section, but I retook the other day, and I think I did much better), Writing 12
SAT- Taking October SAT, Did mediocre on subject tests- Physics, Math 2, US History were all in the 650-750 range
Senior Schedule- AP Micro Econ, AP Chem, AP Psych, AP Spanish, AP Gov, AP Lit

Extracurriculars:
Debate- 4 years, Vice-President, National Qualifier, LD Captain 2 yrs.
Environmental Club- 4 years, President, award winning school
Outdoor Club- 3 years, President, started volunteering programs
Key Club- 3 years, Treasurer, in charge of fundraising
NHS/NJHS- 4 years, President
Bike Racing- 4 years, total of 6 state championship titles, although most were from before high school
Volunteering- 600+ high school hours, mostly volunteered in outdoor activities, such as teaching the physically disabled to bike/ski race

Awards:
Numerous school awards and awards from my state's state colleges

Summer Activities:
I either worked or went to camps at colleges for summers during high school.

Work:
I coach ski racing, babysit, and supervise kids at a math/science camp.

I know that I'm not the greatest applicant ever, but I'm working super hard on essays. Also, I come from a pretty underrepresented area, if that helps. I'm applying to the Huntsman Program, but I put Wharton as the school I want to go to if I get in. I'm looking into an econ major or something similar.

Thanks for any help!

You should work on getting all of your SAT 2s above 700, and your ACT to 33 or above. If you do that, your chances will be decent. Great essays, like you say you’re writing, will definitely help too(: As is, I’d say that your chances are pretty low. If you get your stats up to the level I mentioned, apply ED, if you don’t get them to that level, it’d be a waste of your ED. Good luck!(:

Thanks! And is there anything else I can do to help my application?

Show some entreprenurial prowess? Lots of kids applying to Wharton will already have their own fairly successful business, and that definitely looks good on an application(: I don’t have any details or ideas for how to go about doing this, but if you really think Wharton’s the school for you, you should have no problem with it, I’d hope(:
