ED chances next year

<p>I just visited Princeton this weekend... Wow. Any ideas on chances?</p>

White Male
Upstate New York
Currently attending a poor urban honors high school. Everyone has to take an exam to get in and the acceptance rate after 5th grade (5-12) is below that of most ivies. Rated #1 Public School in Western New York for many years running.
GPA : 4.0 UW (2 A-'s but school counts all A's as same) and will be 5.22 after end of Junior year.
Rank : I believe 1/138 (I have the toughest possible schedule) but i'll just say top 5% for now. Also, school doesn't "officially" rank.</p>

<p>Geez, I don't know how IB differs so greatly. My IB school makes it impossible to get an A in any class.... especially english. (We have a regional writing champ who gets 90-93 at best and my history teacher doesn't believe in grades past 95......)</p>

<p>Anyways, you have all the stats, but that only does so much. Essays are what matter now.</p>

<p>BTW, great job. You are a solid applicant in all areas.</p>

<p>You have excellent chances. Solid ECs and legacy. My only suggestion is to pull your SAT score up to 2220+ (which I think you can definitely do), and make sure your essays are excellent.</p>
