<p>White/ male/ from a competitive S.W. public school
rank: 3 or 4/ 180 gpa: 4.8 unweighted 5.9 weighted
old SAT:Verbal: 790
Math:710
ACT w/ writing (first time will retake): 31
SATII's us history: 740
Lit: 750
Math IIC(yuckk, will retake): 640
wil take new sat in oct.</p>

<p>aps: junior = calc, english, environmental, art history, us history
aps senior year (crazy)= physics, chem, macro + micro economics, literature, human geo, stats.</p>

<p>extra curriculars: competitive tennis for 10 yrs, MVP of tennis team two yrs, captain of tennis next yr. (senior), 400+ community service, founder of honors society that sponsored many events in the community, cornell book award (would this help any?)..hoping for killer essays..=)</p>

<p>whats your gpa unweighted on a 4.0 scale. either way it doesn't matter because it looks really good haha.</p>

SAT is great(fine in math as long as you're not headed toward a mathematics related field)</p>

<p>ECs look good, nice focus on tennis, and the community service is great. very rigorous senior schedule, be sure to do VERY well first quarter haha--4 years of cornell is worth giving up a social life for 2 or 3 months.</p>
