ED Chances. Realistic. Oh man.

Ok, so I have definitely been lurking through this forum for the past couple months of so awaiting my Ed decision from NYU. I've noticed that most of the stats here are in the 95th-99th percentile, but everyone deems these stats are normal. Now, holistically do I believe these stats are comparable to the whole nation, NO! The NYU applicant pool however, I do believe there are mostly upper echelon students thus making chances increasingly harder. I applied Ed Stern, just because I wanted to see if I could get in.

What do you guys think?

dont you find out in like a day?

To be honest, your URM status will definitely overshadow the SAT - good luck!! :)

Yeah, In a day. The anticipation has me up at 4:10 on college talk asking for hope from an internet forum though, wow.

bottom line: URM = in

Despite his URM status , his scores look pretty low I have to say. I would say its a low reach.

The URM would help at CAS, but prob not Stern because stats are low. Is it possible for a Stern applicant to be accepted to CAS as an undecided (I’m not familiar with those policies because I applied to Tisch).

i think you have a good shot. stern is however, a gamble…

You never know.

@jjohn42, it’s not. You’re only considered for the school you applied to.

Can a stern applicant be accepted to NYU as an overall undecided?
