Record local bands and school band using digital recording software. I also write my own songs and record them. I think I would be a good fit in Nashville considering it is the music recording capitol of the world.
5 jobs throughout high school 3 during school year, 2 during summers.
Volunteer at spanish speaking day care.
Piano for 10 years.</p>

<p>I wrote a really good essay about umpiring and baseball, and I believe that my 2 supp. essays were very good as well. I don't have any alumni, but I visited Vanderbilt in April and loved it. </p>

<p>What are my chances, I am really nervous.</p>

<p>You sound fine. What was your school rank though? That tends to be real important for Vanderbilt.</p>

<p>Our school doesnt rank because it is really competitive. I think I am in the 2nd quintile, but I know that our school doesn't send that information out.</p>

<p>Your stats are very similar to my son's, who applied ED last year and was accepted. He is a northerner as well. He received his envelope exactly on Dec. 15th, no earlier. Good luck!</p>

<p>nope i havent heard anything yet...hopefully tomorrow(wednesday) the letter will arrive! though there has been talk of it arriving later due to the fact that the admissions office claims they are sending them out on the 15th ....hmmm hopefully they are just pulling our legs!!!!...if you hear make a post so the rest of the vandy ed crew will know!!</p>

<p>I called the admissions office and they said they just mailed the decisions today and that you can't get your decision over the phone. They said it will probably get to your house by Friday or Saturday.</p>
