ED chances?

I'm applying to Cornell A&S early decision and I keep second guessing my chances. Can anyone give me an honest opinion at my shot here? Apologies for the long post, but I want to be thorough.

Major: Astronomy
Minor: Music(? I'm not quite sure about this yet)

My school isn't ranked, but I guess it would be pretty low.

ACT: Combined 32, English 35, Math 27 (yikes :/), Reading 34, Science 31, Essay 8 (yikes again) I'm thinking about taking it again, but with the ED deadline so close I'm not sure if they'd get them in time...

Unweighted GPA (my school doesn't do unweighted): freshman and sophomore year I had a 4.0 unweighted taking all CP and one honors course, Junior year I took 5 classes at Kent State and 3 classes at my high school first semester with a 4.0, second semester I took 2 classes at Kent State with a 3.8875 (I had to drop all my classes at my high school due to unexpected illness)

Class Rank: At last count 1/280-ish. I'll know for sure once school starts.

Senior Year course load:
Sem 1:
American Politics
Psychology
Analytical Geometry and Calculus II
Literature in English II
Phys Ed

Sem2 (not final):
World Politics
Chemistry+Lab
Phys Ed
College Writing II

ECs:
Band (9-11)
Steel Band (9-11)
NHS (11-12)
Student Council (10-12)
Latin Club Secretary (11)
PANDA (a volunteer organization that runs camps to keep kids away from drugs and alcohol) (9-10)
Looking at more volunteer opportunities and ECs on the Kent Campus for my senior year, because I'm worried about committing to anything due to the aforementioned illness.

I'm also participating in GISHWHES this year and extremely involved with that, but I don't think I should mention it.

So what do you guys think about my chances?

ACT score is a little low for a school like Cornell… And I’m not sure how many AP or honors courses you have taken. If your school offers those, it’s in your best interest that you took a rigorous course load. But it’s about to be your senior year. It’s a little late to be able to chance your chances dramatically. If anything, retake the ACT in the fall and try to go for at least a 34.

Overall, I’d say its a reach. Make sure you apply to safety schools because for a school like Cornell, I can’t say that you’ll be guaranteed admission, even for early decision, at all.

I haven’t taken any AP, however I took freshman and sophomore years of honors English (the only honors class offered at my school) and last year and this year I took almost all (this year all) of my classes at Kent State University.
