ED Chances?

I've lurked around CC for a while, but I recently submitted my ED app at NU and I'm scared out of my mind about it. So here I am.

Scores and Classes
SAT: never took it, no subject tests either
ACT: 32. Not the best math score, awesome English + writing. Science is decent.
GPA: 3.68 UW
Ranking: Top 10% (HS ranked best public school in Chicago, highest average ACT score)
Courseload: APES, AP Comp, all honors classes

ECs
Cross country for all 4 years, Jr. Varsity Captain, varsity competitor
Indoor/outdoor track for 3 years
President of Model UN Club, Best Delegate at 2 international conferences
Piano, Division IH (highest) at IHSA Illinois State Piano Competition 2011, 2012, 2013
Freshman Mentors club

Volunteering
Church youth group
Chicago Public Library Summer Reading Program (about 150 hours for 2 summers)

Activities
Ongoing internship (started summer 2012) at bio research lab at Feinberg School of Medicine (NU)

Other Stuff
Essay: Writing is my strongest subject, hopefully pretty good. Felt especially confident about the CA essay, wrote about lab experience at NU in supplement.

Recs
- 1 very glowing teacher rec (described as "extra extra awesome")
- Decent counselor rec, new counselor this year so I didn't get to know her very well
- External recs from an endowed professor at NU (head of the lab I work at), and my parish priest. Both are probably very, very good.

In summary:
Adopted, upper middle class white male.
First generation immigrant in US.
Legacy at NU.
Internship at NU and internal recommendation at NU.

I mostly want to know, how much do you guys think the internship at Northwestern and a letter of rec from an NU professor will influence my admission decision. I'm not sure I can rely on my scores...for reference, already been accepted at Indiana, Iowa, Michigan St., and Oklahoma. Thanks!

A glowing letter of rec from an NU professor (and that too, head of the lab) should help; this coupled with the fact that you have a legacy can only help you. Good Luck!

Thanks for your input!

Anyone else? Thanks!

you have a competitive chance. good luck.
