<p>Like many others here, I am wondering about what you think my chances are fr early admission.</p>
<p>I live in-state, am a Korean male, and come from a family with a well off economic background.
I want to major in Chemistry or Biochemistry for PreMed.</p>

High School is in top 1% in the Nation</p>
<p>II have taken a good group of classes. For my AP Classes, I have taken Human Geography, World History, European History, American History, English (11th), Chemistry, Music Theory, and Spanish 4. I have gotten 3 5's and all the rest are 4's. For current AP classes, I am taking English (12th), Macroeconomics, Calculus BC, Statistics, and Biology. </p>
<p>I am taking a senior release, meaning I have one less class, but am working close to 20 hours a week at a local math tutoring center.</p>

First Chair/Section Leader in Band (I stopped after sophomore year)
President of my Youth Group at Church (200+ members)
Founder and President of Chemistry Club
Officer in Korean Student Association
Member in many other Clubs (NHS, Key Club, Spanish Honor Society, etc.)</p>

Trip to Houston to work with Bhutanese Refugees
Hosted monthly birthday parties locally for Bhutanese refugee children
Volunteer every summer at a summer school program at my church
Work with the Homeless and serve them food monthly
2 Mission Trips to Guatemala
Worked at various food pantries
Volunteer at my local hospital
In total, probably near 200 hours each year</p>
<p>I haven't seen my recommendation letters, but I think they are probably pretty solid. I am currently working on my last supplemental question to turn it all in today or tomorrow night so I can schedule an off-campus interview. I haven't done the box; does it really impact their decision that much?</p>
