You have a nice solid resume. Your AP scores are not going to make any difference, only show “rigor”. Your teacher recs may be “amazing”, but most applicants will have similar. Essay interest is always in the eye of the reader and is difficult to predict. Which college within Cornell are you applying to?

@csdad Thanks for your opinion! I’m applying to the College of Arts and Sciences, I heard it’s pretty hard to get into, but nowhere near as difficult as AEM.

AP scores will make a difference here especially because he has so many 5’s. Just make sure to distinguish yourself in your essay. Make sure it speaks to who you are as a person. Best of luck in!

AP scores are not required to be sent as part of the application, they will be “self reported” on the common application and thus the selection committee will see them, however their effect on admission appears to be minimal.
