My D is applying ED1 for University of Miami. She has a 23 ACT and a 1100 SAT. She has a 3.3 UW and 3.6 W. She has lots of ECs and 3 AP courses and multiple Honors classes. She had a hiccup during 9th and 10th grade years and has made a great recovery. Her essay is turning out very great regarding a program she participated in this summer and how it was life changing. We are trying to decide whether or not to add her come back from her first two years in that essay.
After speaking with the admissions counselor she said we could address it but that they would see it in the transcripts.
