Just curious, but how did you manage entrance to TJ and end up with only 2010 on the SAT? No offence really; it just doesn't seem very logical.</p>

i scored well above the average TJ admission test taker on the math section. my first language is also not english. i have a higher sat score than he does, yet i attend a non-TJ public school. is my question valid?</p>
<p>You have a very good chance. But for a better assessment, you should go see your guidance counselor. From what I hear, TJ is generally superior in the area of college advising (duh) than the typical crappy instate school. Your GC can probably give you a good idea of what the typical UVA admit looks like from schools (there are hundreds, as you know).</p>
