<p>i would appreciate any input on my chances for early. im pretty sold on duke and would just like to know how i stand in the early applicant pool.</p>

<p>White male from NJ
SAT - 2260 (800 math, 690 eng, 770 writing)
SAT IIs - Math I:750, Math II:790, US History:750
GPA - 95.5 Unweighted, 97.3 Weighted
Classes- 7 APs, mostly all honors classes
APs - Stats:5, USH:4, English Lang:5</p>

<p>Main ECs:
Lacrosse 4 years - team nationally ranked, d3 recruit
Cross Country - 1 year varsity
Math Team 4 years - Captain
Have my own non-profit service where I create and maintain websites for other organizations for no charge (have done about 5 sites)
Junior Board Member of a local charity
Help organize local lacrosse tournament
Worked last summer as a lifeguard
Science Research - Will submit paper to Intel
Attended selectice business program in summer
FBLA club - officer 2 years
Charity club at school - officer 3 years</p>

<p>My teacher's daughter goes to Duke, and she got in with a 1450 on SAT so you do not have to worry there. The average SAT at Duke hangs close to 1500. Your application will come down to essays, recs, and extracurriculars. Your GPA is pretty solid assuming you have taken a challenging courseload. I am applying to Duke too so I won't give a chance, and I really do not think anyone can. The admissions game at Duke is tricky, but great job so far and best of luck with your application.</p>
