i'd say you have a good shot.
where are you from?
i'm counting down the days too...and hoping they release early!

Definitely a great shot, I'd guess that you're in. The double legacy no doubt will help. You actually have somewhat similar stats as me. I have a 32 ACT, top 1% of class (which sounds better than it actually is, my school is not competitive at all and almost never sends kids to top schools), but I'm a first gen college student instead of double legacy. I applied ED btw.

Just a little over a week guys. I can't wait either!

mjsportsmj,

I'm from Wisconsin by the way. I hope we all see each other on the WUSTL campus next fall! (11 days!)

^ Last year they released decisions on the 11th. Hopefully they do the same this time! I wanna know ASAP!

I know me too! It seems like a check the WUSTL website twice a day now, just in case ;).

Wow i heard Wash U ppl were nice (meeting my interviewer and the regional admissions officer convinced me ), but it warmed my heart to see you guys so supportive of one another. I'm applying to WashU RD because of financial reasons, but I really want to go too. Even more now, i'm excited to be with such good people :]

I think you guys made my day

that's so sweet.
yeah...wisconsin makes your app even better, because WashU likes to have a diverse geography.
i have entered my neurosis of checking WUSTL website each night and will continue until i see an answer...

yeah I totally know what you mean about the whole freaking out thing :-D

And i think the poster definitely has a great chance... double legacy certainly don't hurt :)

hopefully i'll see you all next august!!!!!!

Artemis_D

I understand your situation, I probably should've applied RD also, because I come from a low income family (less than 50K/year) that has no money saved for my college fund. But I just didn't want to be restricted because of my family's income for once, so I told my parents I want to apply ED to WashU because I'm 100% it is where I want to go. I've heard that WashU is very generous in giving financial aid packages, so hopefully that is true. If it's not, then I'm pretty much screwed because I certainly can't afford 50K a year.

Anyway, I wish you luck in all your applications but most of all at WashU! And hopefully WashU offers you a financial aid package that suits your needs and allows you to attend.

I second engelmann16's comment. Hopefully we all see each other in August!
