GPA: 91/100
UW:3.68/4.0
School does not weight.
I'd like to point out that my freshman grades are lacking, but my sophomore and junior grades are MUCH higher. Also, The 4.0 GPA scale I calculated was according to:

A = 4.0
A- = 3.7 and so on

I would have a 3.8/4.0 from sophomore/junior year.
If it was according to:

A = 4.0
B = 3.0 and so on

I would have a 3.93/4.0 from sophomore/junior year. It really is my freshman year grades that are dragging me down.

AP's and Honors:3 Honors classes and 1 AP so far - next year I will be taking 3 AP's (AP Micro/Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Biology) and Multivariable Calculus.

AP Statistics: 5

Also, I am in a Math Intel Class which is a nationally reknowned competition.

Class Size/School:Not sure about class size, but it is over 500. I am at a very competitive school (Bronx HS of Science) Top 20 high schools in the nation.

Rank: Doesn't rank.

SAT/ACT Superscore M: 750 R: 650 W: 550 Composite Score: 1950 - Retaking in the Fall. Aiming for a 2050+.

well, it’s no secret that Wesleyan wants to increase its NSM (natural science and math) majors. The biggest problem I see is that your school is practically a Wesleyan feeder school, so the competition will be stiff. Still, applying ED may increase your chances somewhat. Have you considered applying through Questbridge? That way you get notified super early and get placed in the RD pool automatically if you don’t make it.

Thank you so much for the reply! I have two questions though since last year only 39 applied with 10 admitted and 5 enrolled so is that really competition? Also, in your opinion would you consider Wesleyan to be a good place to go for a pre-med route?

yes. as you’ve no doubt deduced, that’s a 26% percent admit rate from one of the strongest high schools in New York City. I have to believe that’s stiff competition.

Wesleyan’s a great place to do pre-med.
