this by no means is strong and i know that for a fact however, I really want Wash U and due to my ill health, i believe I wasn't able to have the best grades nor concentrate as much as I could have. However thankfully I was treated early this summer (which would mean hopefully I wont be affected as much) yet I'm afraid its too late to do anything else except raise my SAT in a couple of weeks and get a good grade 1st quarter.

If there are any suggestions for me please tell me :)
Thanks!

Raise your SAT (you should have around 2100 to have a decent chance of applying ED), or consider the ACT as an alternative. By applying ED, you have already shown you interest in WashU. Make sure to emphasize your ill health condition if it really affected your abilities to get good grades, because that will place a pretty strong factor in the admission process. Write a good essay (you can use the illness here if you want, and maybe talk about your struggles and how you overcame some of them) and get good recommendations, and you may stand a good chance.

Thank you!
How do I emphasize on my health illness? Is it only possible to write an essay on that in order for them to know that I was ill or is there a way I can send them something so that they know what affected my transcript in that way?

I pretty much agree with Can2010. I am very concerned about the SAT scores, though, so a very major improvement when you retake them is probably essential.

You can write an essay or write something down in the “additional information” section in the common app if you don’t want to use your essay topic on your condition. Personally, I would use the essay since you’re killing two birds with one stone, since essays usually stand out quite well when they present overcoming struggles.

Okay, I’ll do my best on the SAT!

But also one more question: I just realized I’m not sure how outstanding my EC’s really are.
Most of them revolve around my participation in Orchestra.

Are these decent for ED at Wash U?

I say your focus on violin and music in general will really help you stand out. Though they may not be comprehensive (ex. head of or participating in like 10 different clubs, as many applicants will be), it shows passion and focus, which may appeal to the adcoms. If you want to include the music and somehow merge that will your ill health (ex. playing despite being ill, etc.), that may make a convincing story. I don’t know your situation so I can only give you a general direction and suggestion.
