<p>no its not bad at all. its just about how you wrote it. typically it usually hurts an applicant because it always ends up being a sob story. but if you feel you avoided the obvious pot holes to fall into with the topic then you will be fine. and isnt it sad that not one of us have said how sorry we are that your father almost passed away? the first thing we do (including me) is comment on how its not a great essay choice. pretty sad</p>
