<p>Hey all, saw this thread going on so I thought I would join with you guys in the suspense… I am a student from Northern VA, 30 minutes away from AU. I am soooooosososoososso nervous, I really truly hope we all get in.</p>
<p>Guys, I am so nervous. I get emails so often on my blackberry and every time I look, my heart like stops a little. I am freaking out. I not even home to worry with my family. I am on my way to dc for a Jewish conference … And if I don’t get in, I am going to be absolutely heart broken. I know I shouldn’t have set my heart on one school, but honestly no other school compares to AU for me … I’m so so so so nervous. :(</p>

<p>Hi guys…I’m AUHOPEFUL’s mom and we got her phone call about an hour ago! She’s been accepted, she’s still at school and she is beside herself excited. We’re in Northern VA. Good luck to you all!</p>

<p>Well, this site went offline for some time. I just had to come back to report I got a call around 6-7 and got accepted! So happy! Hope to see all you guys that got accepted next year, and best of luck in senior year! But I know next year an anxious senior is going to be reading this hoping to get in and I wanna give them my stats so they know what AU accepted before (I think everyone else should too): Hispanic male, two recs, visited the school and had a school meeting with admissions rep., GPA: 3.30 unweighted; 3.36 weighted, ACT: 25, and an upward slope throughout the years. So yeah keep hope alive my stats are definitely NOT the best at all and I still got it, so they care alot about other factors. :D</p>
