No letter in today’s mail in MA.

I received an email last night, Internationals will receive emails.

Oh good - did they say when to expect the email?

Oh really? I am also an international student who applied to Bates as an ED applicants… But I have never heard from them. :((

Check your spam filter. And make sure the email address you gave them is correct. My son has a couple of different email accounts and one communication went to his second account.

So should we be expecting the emails (internationals) on the 20th? I wonder if there’s any chance we’ll get them earlier. The wait is killing me.

Yep I agree. I don’t want to hand in my January-1st applications but have to withdraw all of them after I receive the letters, (if I were accepted :D).

Nothing in the mail today - I’m in western New Hampshire.

I’m guessing it will be Thursday at earliest. Like everyone, we’re on pins and needles!

But, I was told by one of the officers that I “can expect to receive [their] admission decision letter by December 20”. Hm…

They’re not sure of the date, they’ll email once the letters have been mailed.

Is this true - My alumni interview told me that in the ED cycle, need for aid doesn’t effect that much since the colleges are the most generous during ED. If so, then I think we Internations have a far better chance. :)

I’m guessing that means the letters were sent today.

The suspense builds!

Wonder what would happen if you tried to enroll without your letter? :-)

ohhhhh…commmoooonnn…I’m sooo nervous.

Good luck everyone !

Letters were mailed today. My S was told his should be here by Thursday. It is going to be a long two days. Good luck everyone!!

Should I be worried that they only registered that they had both my teacher recommendations today? They told my college counselor they had a faxing problem… but it still makes me soo worried! and they sent out letters today!

Oh thank goodness. I guess it’s possible my son could have his tomorrow - we’re only about 3-1/2 hours away - but I’m thinking Thursday is more likely.

Where did you find out they were mailed today? Thanks for letting us know!

my college counselor told me bates had told him that.

I think as long as they have them you should be okay. I know my son’s form showed him lacking several things that actually had been sent in. So hopefully all will be well. Good luck to you.

any news from bates?
