ED class of 2020

Applying to Olin for Econ. & Strategy. [-O<

Applying to CAS for Biology (Premed track)

Hmm all these premed majors…you should be happy to know that my brother did biomedical engineering at washU and is now at any ivy for medical school after doing outstanding on the mcat!

Applying to CAS for Classics

Same as iceskating1124 - Engineering for Biomedical Engineering

I’m going for hopefully employable activist, also known as PoliSci and Global Health.

@ForwardAlways Good luck to us with Olin!

Applying to CAS for general music as a premed

@Zorbinger Haha seriously!

I am applying to the Olin Business School

which day out of the 9-11th do you guys think they will post the decisions

@iceskating1124 i think 10th

@hellokitty679 why do you think that date?

I think it’ll be the 9th. If you look at past years, they’ve done it the day in between when reading week ends and finals start and that’s the 9th this year :-S

Applied ED to Wash U, but I haven’t visited which probably wasn’t the best idea. I am playing the “I probably won’t get in so I might as well card”. I have a 3.86 GPA, 2060 SAT. I’m applying to the art program, which might help because after I won a national art award for a portrait I did, Wash U’s art program sent me a personalized invitation to apply, a recruitment of sorts I guess. Hopefully this, combined with the fact that I went ED will get me into this school! It is my top choice, and through research I can tell it would be a good fit. Good luck to everyone! Feel free to @ me with your predictions for me haha!

lol @iceskating1124 I’m just guessing. i honestly don’t know :slight_smile:

tbh i filled in the additional section on the common app to write about why I would be a good fit for WashU. I hope they take this in a good way and not a bad way. I know I’m not technically supposed to use this section for those purposes but I did anyways cuz that’s my last/only shot to convince them. Did anyone else also use this Additional Information Section as well?

oh ya, also what time will decisions come out for ppl who live in CA like me?

@hellokitty679 they come out at 5 central time which is 3 in California

I also just wanted to add some stuff to my last post: my essay wasn’t great but it was fine probably (idk lol). My extra curriculars were eh, did a summer art program and volunteered at a local community art center, but that was about it. My high school course rigor was ok, took only 1 AP besides art. If ANYONE wants to comment on my stuff and say what you think, please do! I’ve been accepted to Baylor and Belmont already which is good :slight_smile: Again, looking forward to the 9th and good luck everyone!
