FROM WEBSITE:
Some applicants not admitted under ED may be deferred to the Regular Decision application period for re-evaluation. However, some applicants may be denied admission.
very vague though!!

At an open house event I went to, the admissions representative also stated that one of three things can happen with an ED applicant: accepted, deferred to RD period, or denied. We didn’t ask, nor did they provide, on how many deferred students were then admitted, or what the relative breakdowns were of RD applicants that were deferred vs. denied.
I suppose no one on the West Coast got an email? ? lol
@Winky1 nope
Also does anyone know where on the pathway the decision will even be posted?
Everyone would find out at the same time
Not today I guess
My apologies! I was on the wrong page for about 2 minutes. I thought this was the Vanderbilt page. Carry on!
Not today. Lets wait till monday
Did anyone submit a resume? I didn’t submit one and now I’m worried that maybe I should have to explain my activities better. Obviously way too late now but just curious if others submitted one or opted not to.
I submitted a resume, of course its not required but my sister submitted one last year and got in. IDK if that helps at all but good luck!!!
I didn’t submit one, but I did write in the additional info about one of my activities.
I did neither resume nor write additional info. My activities speak for themselves for the most part. other than the short description box given by Common App.
I did have to explain some awards though, as I won some National and International competitions
Should I get my hopes up for a decision release before the 15th, or just wait until Friday?
Ok, I just noticed a small change when I logged into my D’s financial aid portal. If anyone else has applied for financial aid, maybe see if this happened to you. When we used to log in with her user name and password, the little green button to click after the info. was entered used to be in the top right hand corner of the screen. Now, that little green button is exactly to the right of where she puts in her user name and password. On the right, right next to them. Could be nothing, or might’ve changed for a reason.??
Is there any chance we’d find out today or do they not send decisions on weekends?
According to post #243 by @Throwaway1900 , there hasn’t been a weekend release day in recent history, so I am not expecting one.
I think from the circumstantial evidence, decisions have been made for most of the ED candidates and given that next week is dead week at WashU, Monday seems like as likely a date as any for decisions to be announced. We will see…
What time if it’s on Monday? I am on the East coast
