Okay, @Winky1 Mine is most definitely green, but I’m not sure what it means. The first letter of my last name is near the beginning of the alphabet, so they could be entering in our decision and the green could mean that they have decided? I’m not sure. I am super nervous!
Good Luck @aa51400! Hope it means something positive. May the font be green and the acceptances be plenty!
Thanks, you too!
Can it be 5pm today?
@Haoyu99 It might, although, many think it will be later in the week
My son’s box is green as well. I don’t remember it being green before.
My D’s is not green yet.
@waldo755 Maybe the green box means they’ve plugged in our decisions to the system? That could mean they’re planning to release decisions later today?
@Winky1 Is your D’s name/last name late in the alphabet?
Does anyone else have a green box with their name when you click the hyper text for the Danforth Scholarship ?
@Jjlghv73 , it’s later, but not last. I’d say last quarter of the alphabet
Mine is not green for any of the scholarships yet, including Danforth. My last name is in the middle of the alphabet, so they are probably making their way through. I doubt it is indicative of an acceptance or rejection, just that a decision has been made
has anyone tried clicking a different scholarship other than the Danforth to see if their name is in a green box?
Our last name starts with an S. He is applying for a different scholarship. It does have his email address and Fall 2018 Early Decision listed.
Oh, my last name is before “S”. I’m not sure then, possibly different people dealing with different sections of the alphabet.
I am sure it doesn’t mean anything . . . I really hope my son gets in but I know it is a bit of a reach. He has shown interest and is legacy (me and my sister graduated back to back). We’ll see.
I do think it is funny. All my kids lives I have talked about how amazing WU is and was. I loved my years there – lived on campus all 4 years and never went aboard because I was afraid I would miss something. Both of them refused to even consider WU because I was so annoying. So I made a bet with my son and although he didn’t quite get the SAT score, we decided to visit. He loved the school and decided to go ED. If he gets in I will definitely be saying the dreaded “I told you so!”
We’ll find out soon. Good to know things are changing.
have any of you guys started or submitted scholarships other than Danforth like Honorary Scholars Program in Arts and Sciences?
