Personally, I am bummed out with joshwise’s insider news that admissions is aiming for Thursday. So, I am not expecting anything today.
My D who is way way calm with everything so far has even started checking her portal 5x day. (I hate to tell her how many times I check!!! Hahaha )
@Winky1 I am bummed too. I check my portal at least 15x per day. We’re all in this together and we just have to wait it out and there’s nothing we can do about it now.
Any official emails from the school? I haven’t received anything yet.
I know UChi sent out confirmation of financial aid email before giving out results. My friends just got them.
@haoyu99, so are you saying that your friends did not get accepted yet, but because they got a confirmation email from financial aid, they found out they were accepted?

I have the exact same thought. But if that’s true, at least we know a time.
Since almost all comparable schools are able to provide in advance the date and time of ED results release, I am at a loss to understand the University’s thinking on this matter; moreover, if they know they are materially deviating from prior precedents, why not provide formal clarification. This uncertainty is creating unnecessary speculation and angst.
Odd that it would be Thursday, but that also happens to be the first day of finals. Might make some sense.
Cornell announced ED results yesterday and WashU always releases a few days after them. At least that was my recollection from last year-couple of my son’s friends got into Cornell ED.

@gparent they say that it comes out on thursday but is it possible for them to release decisions earlier?
Last year Cornell posted ED results on 12/8 and Wash U posted 12/9.
my gut feeling says that it would come today evening at 5:45pm EST
