@Waldo755 no 2022 Parents group on FB yet as far as I know. There is a Parents group for all the current classes. And the posts about kids not being in contact with their advisors was from last year.
Also there is a 6 week summer program for accepted kids who WashU thinks could benefit from an early college start since their high schools my not have the best resources to prepare them for college rigor. This is mandatory for kids who get the notification from WashU.
Some kids who do not need the extra prep will attend anyways. Students who successfully complete the program will start out with 6 units towards graduation.
Do ED students attend an admitted student weekend in April or is that only for RD kids that are choosing?
I think that the admitted students weekend should be open to both ED/RD students although most likely ED admitted students have already visited multiple times.
See the link below for the dates:

Have any others accepted ED heard anything more from WashU other than the red envelope in the mail?
My son has not heard anything else.
Thanks, @Waldo755 I thought I read that housing applications would be online the beginning of March, but I haven’t seen anything.
@rhymetime We thought so, too. I know the dates for SOAR are up as well. There has been no official notification of anything.
IIRC housing applications were in May for freshmen last year.
Greetings from WashU!
Today is an exciting day! Our admission and financial aid teams have completed our reviews and are preparing to release decisions today. This year was particularly challenging, as we received a record number of applications with more than 31,300 students vying for one of the 1,763 places in our first-year class. The entering class promises to be one of the most diverse and talented groups to ever enroll at WashU. Please take a look at the admitted student profile for more information about this remarkable group.
We will release decisions late in the day to avoid interfering with the school day. We hope you will keep this information confidential until that time. Admissions decisions will be posted on our WashU Pathway. Financial aid applicants will also be able to access their awards online through their MyFAAccess page. Our Student Financial Services team will be standing by ready to assist with any questions. Please note that the merit scholarship process is complete, as all finalists were notified earlier this month and are now preparing to join us for Scholars Weekend, March 22-25.
We are offering admitted students a host of opportunities to explore WashU as they finalize their college choice. Invitations to on-campus programs are included in your students’ admission packets. Please encourage your students who haven’t had the opportunity to visit campus to take advantage of these programs! We will also host a number of Admitted Student Receptions throughout the country to bring WashU closer to your students. Information about these events may be found on the WashU Pathway.
We will release wait list and deny decisions today, as well. We are continuing to reduce our wait list and are only offering the wait list to students we know we would welcome should space allow. We have been able to offer admission to a number of students on our wait list over the past five years. This number varies from year to year. For example, two years ago, 50 students enrolled from the wait list, while 128 wait list students enrolled last fall. We will monitor our enrollment closely as May 1 approaches.
My team and I value our relationship with you. We know that this time of the year brings great joy as well as disappointment for your students. We hope that providing you with contextual information will be useful as you counsel your students. However, please don’t hesitate to contact me or the Admissions Officer who serves your school with any questions or concerns. You may find our contact information here.
Thank you for your partnership this year, and I wish you the best for the remainder of your school year.
Warm regards,
Ronné P. Turner
Vice Provost of Admissions & Financial Aid
