Anyone heard anything yet? I know the official date is 12/15 but has anyone heard early?

I understand that the decisions won’t go out until January 15th.

I had to double check to make sure I had my dates right. From the CNU site:

Fall 2011

Application Deadline
Notification Date

Early Decision
15 November
15 December

Early Action
1 December
15 January

Regular Decision
1 February
15 March

I thought someone told my son that an applicant “could” be notified earlier than 12/15 (via email or phone) but early notification was up to each admission counselor. If not notified early, applicants will be notified by mail by the 12/15.

Just wondering if anyone heard anything similar.

Letter came today :)

Congrats! D applied EA, so we have to wait until January 15th. Long wait…

Thanks! Good luck to you - let us know when you hear and if you are going :)

Any word yet??? If so, where are you from??? getting anxious!

I got my letter on the fifteenth. 3.69 GPA and a 1300 on SATs

Nothing here yet?? Uh oh… I will let you all know when the letter gets here. Big envelope or small??

Funny in the beginning of the process lots of good news…now things are moving much slower…:-/

So D won’t be getting a letter this week…application was incomplete. NICE!!! I will update as soon as a decision is reached.

Accepted…what a long wait!!

Congrats!!!

@ash316mom - Congrats! Is she definitely going? My D is making her final decision on where she’s going. CNU is in the top.

@rgaines…it is also one of my D’s top choices. It’s actually number 2, behind Elon. Unfortunately, she hasn’t received her FA package from either. I don’t know what’s going on with Elon, but with CNU we totally overlooked so many things throughout this process it’s not even funny. Hopefully she will get them both over this weekend so that she can make a decision. It’s down to 4. And we’re out of state, so I don’t know what to expect for financial aid from CNU.

Which schools are your D torn between?

Was the envelope small or big when it came in the mail?

It was a single letter in a large envelope, if I recall. Everything from that point on was done on line. That was the fall of 2010 – don’t know if the process is the same.

Same here if i recall correctly too. D decided to go to Emerson College in Boston instead. @mdcamw - did your D end up at CNU?

Yes. Son is a sophomore there and loves it. Yours happy?
