I think you definitely get into Cornell…because you have good scores and great ECs!!

Are you considered an international student? Cause if you are, that could make it tougher for you to get in.

Either way you have a pretty good chance, just a better one if you weren’t international

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/809189-okay-gpa-good-scores-chance-me-anyway.html

Thank you guys, since I am not an experienced “chancer”, I can’t chance back accurately, sorry 'bout that.

Any more opinions?

Bump bump bunp

hmm you look very strong for Cornell. Considering that you are Early Decision, I think you are probably in

Your CR score is a little low but within range, but otherwise very solid app. Surprised if you’re straight rejected, at worst a deferral imo. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/741460-assess-my-chance.html

bump pppppppppppp

Math for the win, good job on the USAMO and etc.

third bump :))

SAT writting section has nothing to do with Cornell. So your Actual SAT should be 1440/1600

That sucks :(

Your SAT reading score is low, and your GPA could be a little higher. Also, your ECs are not very balanced, ‘academic stench’ - ivies don’t like this.

But, despite that, you have a very good chance at getting into Cornell ED. :)

Fourth bump :)

dont listen to nostalgia. Your SAT scores are well within range and it is a very good score. So dont worry about that.

Just inform us if u DIDNT get in coz i honestly think you will ;/

thank you every one!

another bump :)

You are in. USAMO qualifier, USAPhO Semifinal, State mathleague 2nd place, USAMTS silver, Plus research. Why didn’t you EA MIT/Caltech?

I did CalTech EA, which I think I have a slim shot; internationals can’t do MIT EA. :frowning: Do you think these competitions would work much for Cornell?

1 more bump
