Im struggling with going ED or not, and am taking it right up to the decision date. Im thinking of ED to Cornell, but am not all that sure about wanting to go there. I recently took interest in Carnegie Mellon, and have interest in Duke, virginia, also. I am interested in molecular bio/genetics. Im really stressing whether if i do not go ED, i have lost all chance at Cornell or Carnegie Mellon. if i dont go ED, i can take another shot at the SATs and SAT IIs. Stats are: 1450 SAT/2150 New Sat, 750 US hist.,680 Bio,580,math II C took all APs HS offers( 7 total), A's in all classes EXCEPT B in SPanish III and IV, top 5% of class of 220, 2 sport varsity, tons of extracurriculars, good recs, good essays. If i do not go ED, do i still have a good shot at cornell or cm?

you would still have a great chance at carnegie mellon, and a good shot at cornell.

Bottom line: If you aren;t certain you should go ED then you shouldn't.
