Count the number of people on CC applying to Barnard ED.

Me (Kiwinites)

College101

Peaches_Cream
Emilina/Emilina’s friend

Tentative:
SkittleRose (She said it was her top choice but I don’t know if that necessarily equates to ED)
AdeleZ (are Intl students allowed to apply ED?)
Bes508 (wanted to tour before making sure)

Overall that doesnt seem like a lot. Is this the usual number of ppl on CC who apply to Barnard? I have a feeling a lot more will come out of the woodwork come Dec. 15…

Kiwi, good one! I’ve been thinking about this at the back of my mind. I’m really curious to see how things will fall out among us.

21 days – 3 weeks! Ah!

Dance to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” :-p

Find reassuring admissions data to keep you sane.

Last year, there were 392 ED applicants, of which 187 were admitted. That’s 47.7040816% Not bad.

And, @ch0c0lat, those aren’t terrible statistics at all. (I agree with you!) They’re actually very positive.

Post here what your favorite thing about Barnard is / why you decided to apply ED.

i basically love everything abt Barnard, its tradition, course program and women enpowerment.
the alumna are awesome, multipled with LAC;s liberal environment, NYC’s diversity and Columbia’s academic rigidity… I want to join in the dance activities and Columbia MUN too =)

aww 18 days!

i just cant wait to join the dance activities

i heard we can take dance instead of PE is that true?

angeloath- yeah, that’s true. Dance is available as a PE credit. There are numerous other “sports” available as well, such as Self-Defence, Swimming, Yoga, The Alexander Technique (learning how to walk gracefully), and many others!

wow thats awesome.
cuz im currently taking the IB and we dont even have PE classes …
so if im not sure if i can handle PE anymore haha
but dance will be perfect
and alexander technique sounds fun

The Alexander Technique sounds AWESOME! I’d love to take that.

By the way, it’s 18 days as of today. I think there was some confusion. :-)

Watch “Up,” if you haven’t already. And go see “A Serious Man.” Two fantastic movies.
