<p>Dear Uncle Ezra,
I'm so frustrated right now. I applied early decision. I've heard people say the notification date is December 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, 2006. I need to know soon. In 2005 it was the 15th. However, early decision notification has been as early as the 10th. Can you please clear this up by telling the true 2006 notification date for early decision?</p>

<p>Notification of Early Decision to Cornell University will be posted on your admissions accounts at exactly 5:00pm, Eastern time, on December 14, 2006. This notification will then be followed up by a formal letter of acceptance.</p>

and i am insane right now.......</p>

<p>it is also the 14th for guaranteed transfer notifications. i am assuming it would be the same for ED candidates.</p>

<p>I called the admissions office today and they said December 15th, 2007.</p>

<p>It makes no sense for it to be on a Saturday. It's most likely the 14th.</p>

<p>i know. thats why im always pessimistic during school when i recieve back tests or quizzes. i never want to be optimistic and then get all ****ed off when i see a bad grade..</p>
