The decision of WUSTL is gonna be out today~
So when it's out, just post your decision here~
I'm very anxious and expecting~~
(As a Chinese applicant, I just know how hard it is. As far as I know, WUSTL only admit one student in China in Early Decision last year)
Bless me...

If you wanna talk to me, just add my MSN...I'm so anxious~~~~~~~

Good luck everyone waiting for your Wash U decision today. My D was in your exact position one year ago. Wash U was her dream school for 5 years before she applied, she visited twice, submitted an art portfolio, had adequate "stats", but she still got deferred during the ED round. Why am I posting this now? Because...while she was devastated, she DIDN'T GIVE UP! She raised one of her AP grades, submitted an additional essay and wrote Wash U a followup letter at the end of January to update them as to her work/extracurricular activities and to explain to them how much/why she loved Wash U. Not only did they accept her a week early (before official acceptances went out in March) during RD round, stating that "her application stood out as one of the best they received that year", they also offered to fly her out to Wash U again at their expense to tour the art school, as she was no longer bound by her ED contract. In retrospect, we think the ED deferral was because of her one weaker fall AP grade, which was because she was crazy busy with a fall varsity sport, applications and putting together an art portfolio. Being deferred ED is VERY DIFFERENT from being waitlisted in the RD round. If you do end up getting deferred as my daughter did, you still have a decent chance of being accepted in the spring, but you are still going to have to work hard at it and let Wash U know how much you want it. I wish you all the best!
