I called last night and got a message that they would be sending ED candidates an email about how to access their acceptance status a few days before the announcement. The message states that the decisions will be posted on this site that the message directs us to, on Dec 10 and 5 pm.

"As Cornell admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornell’s online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admissions decisions online on Thursday, December 10, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing your decision online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

You do not need to do anything further at this time. We will post a new message on our web site once we have sent the email instructions for viewing your decision online."

^ That’s the message they posted on their website today.
