wait does that mean they've got more early applicants?????????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO anyboddy know for sure??

hopefully we will know exactly when we get our decisions on Monday

ok guys no wonder you're getting all these diff answers..
u have to stop calling the undergrad admssions OFFICE (ie. the number they put up on the site)..

those people who answer the phones really do not know jack..

cus of the time diff. its always messed up for me.. so can someone please call
Jessica Marinaccio
Director, Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Columbia University
212-854-1974
at that number....
she will know... ok?

btw, http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/aboutcolumbia/ heres a pic of her.. so u can just imagine her while ur speaking to her lol

o and this is her email jm996@columbia.edu
can someone email? (Nikki...) and paste what it said in the email you received?

Nikki.. you know what you need to do??... Since you got that email.. you need to call Jessica and ask her about the validity of that email ..

We all want to know when the admissions decisions are coming out, but I can't call the director of admissions to ask her! She must be so busy right now, she doesn't need a million kids calling her up telling her that she needs to do her job faster. I think calling the number they give us to call is the right thing to do. If it was acceptable to call her it would say so on the website, which it does not (as far as I know).

cot damnn shes hot hahah j/k shes young and pretty tho

is anybody Columbia Freshman? when did they send out e-mails last year (concerning early decision)?? do you remember the specific date?

I was rejected last year early decision. I received an email entitled "Columbia University" on the 12th of December. Columbia's still my school - I'm applying transfer - but ugh their acceptance rate for transfer is 8% and their undergrad last year was the same as Harvard. Good luck all you EDers, if you get in, that's truly amazing.

Hey Corey, still remember me? what happened to you on the facebook?

"I was rejected last year early decision. I received an email entitled "Columbia University" on the 12th of December. " - omg copper thats so sad... :(
why did they reject you?

and WHEN the hell is columbia sending out decisions this year!!!!!!!! someone please call jessica! i've called her twice before!

Soulofheaven08 - we must talk - I want to hear about it. I decided I didn't like having a lot of friends on the facebook, so I've rejected probably 90% of invitations. Only my good friends are on there.

Just called and spoke to Jessica. "End of next week". Early decision.

So that means the 10th, right? BOOYA!
