We are in PA, about 35 minutes away. She has 3.96 unweighted GPA with 3 AP classes and 2 college dual enrollment classes. Her SAT was only a 1260 but she had really great essays and interviewed well. She was editor in chief of high school newspaper and writes for the local newspaper as well. We are guessing the rigor, grades and extra curriculars helped overcome the SAT score.

It was really cool-the packet had a big Congratulations across the front of the envelope and then a couple of folders inside-one had a beautiful personalized letter with details about her and why they chose her (not a form letter) and then another folder with the outline of the financial terms they offered her.

My daughter also got her acceptance letter today!!! We are super excited!!! Congrats to all accepted and goodluck to all waiting to hear back! ???Go Lafayette Class of 2023!!!
