ED Decisions

It's December 15th.
Good luck to everyone.

I doubt any of us will get our decisions today. According to "Where Am I...", has anyone's letter been mailed out? I wan't to say I once heard that they'd like you to hear via mail first rather than on-line, but I do not know how accurate that is. Anyways, my status has not changed a bit since Nov. 16 when my application was declaired "complete." As funny as it may seem, my application was reviewed before it even said that. They reviewed it prior to receiving my poor SAT II scores! I'm not even going to begin to analyze all that crap and how it "might" indicate whether or not I was accepted. By now though, best of luck to all! I must ask though, does anyone know how they send out the decisions? I know last year there was some speculation that they sent out rejections first? Thanks!

My letter hasn't been mailed yet. And it does say on the page itself that they intend for you to find out via mail rather than online.

I called the office of admissions on the 13th and got the implication that some letters had been sent out. The lady I talked to checked my status herself and said nothing had been mailed to me. If nothing had been sent out she probably would have told me, "We have not sent anything out yet." Does anyone know though if it's true that rejections go out first, or better yet, how they release decisions in general? That would be really nice to know.

I think they're sent randomly but I just called admissions and the lady said that the bulk of the decisions went out Wednesday.

Nothing in the mail here (NJ).

Nothing in MA either

nothing... ahh!

will there be something that says letter sent if they sent it.... and for the 3 days thing does anyone know if its 72 hours, or a reset at 12am thing (meaning if they sent it Wednesday it could show up online 12 am tomorrow morning)?

I thought there would be something saying the letter was sent, but if no one got it I guess not. And I doubt they're going to be that precise by posting it at exactly 12 am.

I was guessing internally they'd post when the letter is sent and the decision and they'd have a rule setup in their computer system to automatically delay that posting as well as the decision for 3 days. Of course they wouldn't post it at exactly 12 am, was just curious if their computer would.... (haha i highly doubt anyone would know that).

i got in! MCS, i called them up because i didn't want to pay $70 to submit another app due today. good news is refreshing.

good luck to everyone!

Thought about it but I got home after their admissions office closed :(

Congratulations passerby. I had no idea we could call in and ask.

So does anyone have any idea when they will be posting online? Is there any chance tomorrow? I thought someone on last year's fourm said they post online on the 16th?

The suspense hurts. :(

I know..I could barely sleep.

I have been accepted into CIT. I just checked online.

Congrats! Mine's not up yet..

Apparently they sent my letter on the 12th, so I guess they post it 72 hours after they send it.
