ED Deposit

so my parents forgot to send in my ed deposit and i got a letter saying that they closed my application!!!! are they going to let me send it in or am i too late?! somebody please give me some uplifting news....

why don't you call The office instead of sitting here and waiting for an answer? most of us are only applicants and cannot help you!
take actions yourself!

Definitely CALL the office immediately (or as soon as during the the office hour)!
On the other hand, don't be panic. they will let you continue doing that. But just be QUICK! wish you good luck!

don't you realize that it's a sunday night?! i already emailed them and the office is closed right now!! i took as much action as i could!

thank you cedricsunshine. my mom is calling first thing in the morning. i need as much luck as i can get! thanks!

Satty88--
I hope you can make it!(i understand how you feel...) and if you do, which is approximately 99.999% chance, we will both be in the class of 2013 at washu and we shall be friends!

haha we definitely shall be! so i'm assuming you got in ed and sent your deposit in on time ?

yes, i got in upon ed and sent in my deposit on time. To relax your mood, let me tell you that after you sent in the money and the form, you will soon receive a package from them, containing a wash u T-shirt(that's why they ask for your size), a welcoming card, two wash u logo stickers and one hook (actually i don't know how i should call it in English) with a wash u logo on it. So be looking forward to that!

The hook thing is a carabiner (or "caribbeaner") that is for mountain climbing but which many people now use for keys. I guess it was easy to mail with the shirt and stickers and will probably last longer than a cheap plastic keychain anyway, which are always a pain to get keys on and off with those little looped ring things.

hey wudude, so you are also in the class of 2013 or already a student on campus?

My daughter will be in the class of 2013. I am an alum who works here at Wash U so I am definitely on campus -- in fact I have been on campus longer than most of the users of this forum have been alive. I think I deserve the carabiner thing more than my daughter does -- I even have a bunch of Wash U keys I could put on it!
