So, CC, I've got a bit of a dilemma, and I was wondering if you could provide your thoughts.
I applied Early Action to the University of Chicago, but in all realism, I'm probably not going to get in. Assuming I don't, my two top (and somewhat realistic) choices become Boston College, then Bowdoin.
I'm wondering weather I should apply ED 2 to Bowdoin, and up my chances of actually being able to go to one of my top choice schools, or weather I should just wait to see if I get accepted into BC even if it lowers my chances of getting into either.
(Note: I'm not necessarily going to go with the majority opinion, I'm just looking for feedback)

Here's my stats:

3.55 GPA (first 2 years, 3.6, junior year I moved from Maine to Michigan, deaths in family, etc. etc., dropped to 3.4; 3.8 last term, trying to bring it up).

Ranked 175 out of 585 (moved from really small, competitive, New England school to a grade inflating massive school in Michigan. That, and the drop in GPA kind of ruined my rank.)

750 CR SAT 1
770 W SAT 1
670 M SAT 1
770 US History SAT 2
