Here is an article from the Daily Hampshire Gazette, describing how much food from the college farm will end up in the dining hall:

I’m waiting on my ED letter. About two weeks to go.

Good luck! My fingers are crossed for you. My son loves it there.

As of 6:05 December 11, 2013, I have been accepted to Hampshire College!

Dogbloos - congratulations! You applied ED, right? That’s wonderful. Do you have an idea of an area of study?

hi! i see you got into hampshire, congrats. i applied too and i am anxiously waiting my response, i was wondering if you received a letter or an email notifying you. thanks and hope to see you next year!

BTMell, yes I applied ED and thank you very much! In general I want to study creative writing and visual art, but I like how people at Hampshire get weirdly specific with their official degree name like “Frisbees” or “Yogurt,” so I want to get really really specific with my degree like “the letter A” or something so I can just be that cool.

jasononmyfeet, I got a envelope/package in the mail. Inside was a slender folder. All my appendages are crossed for you!

Jonathan Lash has a blog on Huffington Post, and his latest entries deal with food on campus:

These posts are interesting and sound like the way a college should be implementing a food service. It will be interesting to see how students like it.
Do they post decisions online, or do the decisions arrive by snail mail?
