Thanks.

Can I apply to two schools ED or no?

Thanks.

No, if you get accepted to a school ED, you MUST go to that school

Oh crap, I meant EA sorry.

EA, you can apply to more than one school EA, but not ED.

There are normal EA schools and then there are SCEA--single choice EA. For SCEA schools, you can only apply to that one.

How do you know if the schools are SCEA or normal EA?

Also, will schools look down on applying to more than one EA school because it shows that you really go want to two schools instead of just theirs?

go to the schools website...simple

"Also, will schools look down on applying to more than one EA school because it shows that you really go want to two schools instead of just theirs?"

They won't know that you're applying to another school EA unless it asks on the app. I'm actually not quite sure whether it does, but I do know that in the SCEA app, you have to swear that you're not applying to other schools early.

Oh....ok. Thank you very much all.

Can some one list schools with different Early Admission/ Early Decision requirements? I know about theses

Yale - SCEA
Stanford - SCEA
Harvard - SCEA
MIT - SCEA
CIT - SCEA

Princeton - ED
U. Penn - ED
Columbia - ED
Brown - ED
Cornell - ED

I would like to know
Duke -
Northwestern -
JHU -

Harvard & Princeton no longer have early action/decision options. I thought MIT was regular EA?

MIT and CIT have regular EA. Princeton and Harvard are moving to a single app and JHU has ED.

Duke has ED...but this is easy to find on any college's website.
Early, especially ED, should really only be considered at schools you very much want to attend. I would choose a school I was in love with, and then see what policy they have...if it's EA, go for it! If it's ED, think about if you're ready for that committment.
If you're too lazy to look up whether they have EA or ED...(something that will be featured very prominently on any college info, they want people to apply early!)...then I seriously doubt your passionate enough about the school to warrant an early application.
