<p>@Akap94 if every international student receieved that mail, then it probably isnt a big deal… I saw some people hypothesizing that logically CMU would not prioritise sending that mail to rejected students! Or maybe i am thinking too much… :P</p>

<p>I guess it is not a big deal. Friend of mine got rejected ED, and he had received a similar e-mail during the ED cycle!</p>

<p>@adit2195 - Was it a 2nd interview that you got?? That means you are more or less in. If it was your 1st interview - then maybe they were going through your file and felt like they needed more information, but it doesn’t co-relate to a decision. As far as I know, Harvard tries to interview all of its applicants. Few don’t get one initially due to lack of alumni availability!!</p>
