ED envelope

I applied to Furman early decision but would like to know if the University sends out a thick envelope for those who were accepted? It would ease my anxiety. Thank you.

hey, stop freaking. FU loves you! you're going to be accepted and then we're going to go on a celebratory shopping trip!!!

Furman is closed today. I guess we have to wait a little longer.

Press release today says Early Decision will be online soon on admission website.

When I got my acceptance letter from FU last year, it was a small envelope with just one sheet of paper in it. This was regular decision, though, not ED.

Thank you all for responding. Parentofbear do you know what day the online will be? I've been waiting for my envelope but I think the weather is gonna delay it for a while.

I have only been checking the website. There is a special weather advisory for the area Saturday Power was out in parts of Greenville on Friday. My guess would be Tuesday or Wednesday for Early Decision. I’m sweating the financial aid scholarship date more.

Early admissions decisions were mailed Friday December 16th. They will not post or make available the decisions online.

Early decision information is now up online.

I finally got my letter today and I'm happy to say that I got in!

Received financial aid and scholarship award letter on Saturday. Daughter headed to Furman. Thank goodness I have time for the logistical problems. Cellos don’t travel well.

Congratulations to both of you! My daughter is a sophomore and loves Furman. It has proven to be the ideal place for her to grow as a person as well as an intellect, a combination that was so important to us. We wish you a wonderful experience at Furman and much success in both your futures!! Have a great spring and HS graduation!

Congratulations on your admissions to Furman. I am an alum and you will be getting incredibly personal and high caliber contact with the Furman faculty all four years. Vancouver is lovely, but you will also like the Furman campus very much.

I was accepted ED as well. I'm really looking forward to it. I know that there are obviously some very informed people on this website regarding Furman. It was always my opinion that Furman compared most favorably to other very selective schools in the South and that their reputation was increasing each year. Although its not Duke, I think that it is comparable to Wake and better academically than most of the ACC for a LAC. What does everyone else think?
