<p>But you see what I mean with ED. A person who applies ED to NU and gets that offer, like Kdog’s son, may not know that he might be getting a RD offer that one does not want to refuse. When you are sitting there and looking at the hard dollar amounts, it’s a whole other story than when you are trying to gain acceptance at any cost. The story changes once you have gained acceptance. Just human nature…</p>
<p>There’s another thread here where someone violated the ED agreement. Probably no consequence because the school being chosen is not going to care, most likely, but the high school is not going to be happy. I see these messes all of the time with ED. It is a beautiful thing when it works, but can stink, oh can it stink, when it doesn’t.</p>
<p>DS is dear son, DD is dear daughter and DH is dear son—you get it,right? Don’t ask me why the dear has to be there.</p>
