<p>Would the FA be good if parents combined, or single parent in fact, make $60,000 or less, and the student applied ED? It's definitely less, but I thought I'd just put $60,000 to cap off. Do they meet that kind of need fully, or will they still be asked to contribute, if so, would it be a small amount?</p>
<p>Run your numbers through the FAFSA calculator on line. It is generally fairly accurate as to your EFC (estimated family contribution) - other factors are considered outside of income - age, household size, number in college, etc.</p>
