<p>If you can bring up that SAT score, I think you have a solid solid shot.

<p>The only thing that is really keeping you down is your SAT scores, but you did retake so gl on those score. You have a lot of EC’s and honors so that will help. As for you brother, it might help you get in but I don’t know how Duke does legacy.
Could you explain to me what a block schedule is?</p>

<p>A block schedule is when you only have 4 classes a semester. Each semester, you have different classes. That way, you can take spanish 1 and 2 in the same year, algebra 2 and pre-calc the same year etc</p>

<p>You’re unfortunately in a very competitive pool for Duke coming from the Mid Atlantic. Just top 10% will make it very tough. Maybe a slim chance if the new SAT is near perfect and your application is amazing?</p>
