I'm applying ED online and in my Common Application it says

"This institution requires that you submit the following before you can submit your application: ED Agreement. You have successfully submitted the applicant component of the Early Decision Agreement. The completed Early Decision Agreement will be submitted by your counselor after your counselor and parent/legal guardian (if applicable) have read and signed their respective components."

My mother, counselor and I signed the form and she said she submitted it so I checked her profile and we couldn't find any other form (she submitted everything). I'm confused what to do now especially since it takes app. 10 days by mail (from Europe) and the deadline is approaching.

If anyone knows what to do I'd be really thankful!

It sounds like everything should be fine. The message you quote displays in red at the top of your component of the online ED agreement. You can confirm that everything is submitted by going to the School Forms page and clicking on your ED college. You should see a line under your counselor’s name that says “ED Agreement - Counselor component.” If that has green text next to it that says “Submitted” with a date, your ED agreement has been submitted.

The red text at the top of your component of the ED agreement displays after you’ve submitted the ED agreement, even though the first line is a bit contradictory since you’ve already submitted it.

Everything is fine. Your counselor submitted the ED agreement almost a month ago and it’s probably already in your file at the college. Take a deep breath and do your best to enjoy your senior year!

This is the exact problem I have! Except my counselor doesn’t really use the online version of the Common App so I mailed the ED agreement instead. Does that, in any way, prevent me from submitting my Common App online?

OK it seems the problem is still here coz I’ve just contacted the college and im quoting their reply “We have not found your ED agreement yet, but we will let you know when we recieve it. Maybe you can try faxing or scanning it again.”

im getting nervous coz there is no chance that my college would receive the ED agreement sent by mail by November 15.
Should I scan it and send it by e-mail or wait that sth happens?

At my profile on the Common Application:

ED Agreement: Since you indicated that you plan to apply to this institution via the binding Early Decision plan, you must complete and submit the online ED Agreement prior to submitting the Common App Online to this institution.
View the ED Agreement online. (when i go to view, everything is grey)

luluzg - First things first - take a deep breath. It’s going to be okay. Have you submitted your Common App Online? The college will only receive your ED Agreement (and other school forms) after you submit the Common App Online.

Once you have submitted the application online, the college will receive your ED Agreement in the same manner as your Secondary School Report and any Teacher Evaluations.

Thousands and thousands of applicants have successfully used this process to submit ED applications this year. Just make sure you get your application submitted if you haven’t already and the rest will take care of itself.

Well I submitted my application yesterday so I figured out they should have received all the forms by today.
I’m sorry if I annoy you but I like to have everything done before the due especially if I’m doing it for the first time. Thank you for reassurance, it kinda helps :)

I contacted the Support Team and they replied

Thank you for contacting the Support Team.

So long as you see a submitted date the form should have gone through. If the college says they do not have it have them contact us and we will assist them.

Again, thank you for contacting us; please do so again if you need additional assistance with this incident.

Regards,
The Support Team

How should I tell it to “my” college and know after whether everything is okay or not

Many times it may take a day or two for a college to download and file application materials from the Common App. Colleges with November 1st deadlines are receiving lots of mail and online materials right now, so a bit of a delay is to be expected. If your materials are submitted in the Common App Online you are fine.
